IonQ Tempo at KISTI

IonQ Tempo at KISTI is a trapped ions quantum computer operated by KISTI in South Korea. It has 100 physical qubits. It ranks 2 of 17 trapped ion machines in this table by physical qubit count. 3 sourced specs are in the spec sheet. No benchmark figures are recorded for it yet.

Also known as KISTI Tempo, IonQ KISTI 100-qubit system

IonQ and KISTI finalised the agreement on 24 December 2025 for a 100-qubit Tempo to be integrated into KISTI-6 (HANKANG), described as South Korea's first on-site hybrid quantum-classical integration. It will run as a private cloud for Korean academia and enterprise with service delivery managed by Megazone Cloud. No delivery date is stated, so it is recorded as planned; the generic ionq-tempo record covers IonQ's own unit.

Co-located supercomputer: KISTI-6. This machine is integrated with, or hosted beside, that system.
