Quandela said in May 2025 that Canopus would arrive within a year and double the qubit count. Its product page says it will reach Premium cloud customers in 2026. Quandela's QPUs page lists Canopus at 24 physical qubits (QOPS 2k) under next-generation QPUs, and its MosaiQ page labels Canopus as MosaiQ 24 (systems from 6 up to 24 qubits), so 24 is a planned figure. The QPUs page gives a key-figures date of 2025 and says Canopus is expected in just one year's time, which conflicts with the Canopus product page's 2026 target for Premium cloud customers, so the date is not settled. Status stays planned because no launch was found as of October 2026.
